From my investigations, without a reverse mapping VM the information
it's not easy to clear all the caches, and thus it hasn't been done.
OTOH, if you have OO.o installed to a partition, I believe a simple
unmount / mount will flush the cache - a pain to have a partition just
for that I know but ...
