I've seen this bug reported in various places with various results. In every other application fonts work normally, but throughout OOo I can't see any menus or anything, even in setup.
This bug is the same as: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=2612 There seems to be some confusion over what exactly causes this, the information I was able to dig up on Google indicated the problem is: a) The font engine can display very small fonts. b) There is a TrueType font in the base MS fonts package that has an alias similar to the interface font and somehow the interface font becomes obscured. c) some configuration file has become messed up. Is there anything that can anyone can recommend besides uninstalling truetype support? I spent a fair amount of time getting the fonts the way I like them, and the underlying font infrastructure seems somewhat convoluted at this point in time and I'm not sure how much effort it will take to get my fonts working again, if I mess with them to get OOo working.
