Ok, I now thought that my system configuration is somewhat broken. Therefore I found myself an unsed 6Gb drive and installed woody from netinst image on it. Only base system. Then I upgraded to unstable and tried apt-get build-dep openoffice.org and apt-get source openoffice.org. I've used blackdown java 1.3sdk. build-deb didn't provide me with gcc and some other stuff so I just installed c/c++ utils with tasksel. Following the original instruction 'dpkg-buildpacke -uc -us' and it went compiling through the night. Well in the morning I got same error. So I think this is reproducible. I'll also try to get another hardware but I seriusly doubt that this is hardware problem. Another interesting thing I noticed is that I get this errors on screen: ..... # Packagers - if you are working on improving the .debs, you can # run setup and rebuild over and over like this: # rm debian/stampdir/setup ; dpkg-buildpackage -nc -rfakeroot rm -rf /home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/debian/tmp rm -f debian/stampdir/install.log mkdir -p /home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/debian/tmp//usr/lib/openoffice sed -e "[EMAIL PROTECTED]@#/home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/debian/tmp//usr/lib/openoffice#" \ -e "[EMAIL PROTECTED]@#/home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/debian/stampdir/install.log#" \ debian/local/rsfile.global.txt > debian/local/rsfile.txt # Run OOo setup using response file. /home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/debian/local/scripts/oo-xvfb-run -a -w 5 build-tree/oo_1.0.1_src/instsetoo/unxlngi4.pro/01/normal/setup -v \ -R:/home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/debian/local/rsfile.txt xauth: creating new authority file /home/gandalf/oo/openoffice.org-1.0.1/Xauthority error opening security policy file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list! There were some messages about 100dpi and 75dpi fonts but they dissapered when I installed xfonts-100dpi and xfonts-75dpi. I don't have X11 on my system. Just the things that are needed to build openoffice.org. About my packages, here are md5sums: 73de3108e5547c5b38f977b3504a43e9 openoffice.org_1.0.1-7.diff.gz e7f045b7352fb73f9ffb8c9f1b291495 openoffice.org_1.0.1-7.dsc a4cf71d12529a4b35509b4bf9da94a8a openoffice.org_1.0.1.orig.tar.gz I really don't know what else I could tell you. The machine is on the net so I could give you remote access if it would help you aything. regards Jure Cuhalev [EMAIL PROTECTED] ----- End forwarded message ----- -- .''`.
