This is what I have discovered in addition: - The problem is only seen in OpenOffice.org with libfreetype 2.1.3 installed - It affects all fonts, not just the user interface font - Fonts fail to display under a certain size. By default, the user interface font is small enough to fail to display. - If you turn off on screen antialiasing, all fonts fail to display, not just small ones.
I haven't managed to reproduce this problem in any other application so far. Chris
