Hi Gerhard, Thanks for the report. I removed the global exporting of CC because dpkg-architecture uses CC in a way that does not work when CC="ccache gcc-3.x" and gives spurious warnings. I hadn't noticed that CC was used at all during the build (not helped by the fact that 643C, which I am concentrating on more, is now exporting this in the *.Set file :)
