-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi.
I have checked for previous reports of the same problem and found http://lists.debian.org/debian-openoffice/2002/debian-openoffice-200209/msg00049.html but it does not really help all that much. I checked the README.Debian.gz. Here's the problem When doing a 'openoffice' right after 'apt-get install openoffice.org', I get this back (danish locale, sorry): running openoffice.org setup... /usr/bin/openoffice: line 92: 5959 Afbrudt (SIGABRT) /usr/lib/openoffice/program/setup -R:/etc/openoffice/autoresponse.conf setup failed.. abort So I did a cd /usr/lib/openoffice/program ; strace setup.bin and got alot of stuff ending with old_mmap(NULL, 4096, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE, MAP_PRIVATE|MAP_ANONYMOUS, -1, 0) = 0x41586000 writev(2, [{"setup.bin", 9}, {": ", 2}, {"relocation error", 16}, {": ", 2}, {"setup.bin", 9}, {": ", 2}, {"undefined symbol: _ZTI7MessBox", 30}, {"", 0}, {"", 0}, {"\n", 1}], 10setup.bin: relocation error: setup.bin: undefined symbol: _ZTI7MessBox ) = 71 _exit(127) = ? But I don't know what to do now?!? Please help, Søren. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE9uI8vx5T/PFA7BgoRAnjlAJ96TPVnHIbylGqvL45f9NakGsSgawCgkmeD /ZrGe5DldIZJWpIJ+izw/BM= =0NTo -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
