Greetings: I found this on the net: * Problems with S3 Savage chip If you are running XFree86 4.x and have an S3 Savage chip, you must use this workaround. Export this variable before starting openoffice: SAL_DO_NOT_USE_INVERT50=true export SAL_DO_NOT_USE_INVERT50 After I typed this into my eterm window, I could run OOo and it was great to see it up and running! Yet, I would like to make shortcut to start OOo, so how does one go about this on kde? Tia and thanks to all who are making this package available to the masses!! tatah - -- Jaye Inabnit\ARS ke6sls\/A GNU-Debian linux user\/ http://www.qsl.net/ke6sls If it's stupid, but works, it ain't stupid.
