Finally, we took the plunge :) Rene has uploaded 1.0.1-5 to unstable/contrib. The new version will also become available on the mirrors when they next sync.

The main highlights:
* Moved to gcc-3.2 for both architectures
* Disabled patented LZW compression code
* gcc3.2 and libstlport build-dependencies now available in unstable
* English help is available in a new package (openoffice.org-help-en) and
can be installed alongside any language pack.
* language packs have shrunk from 15MB->2.5MB because of the help removal
* and many small changes
