    I submitted a bug against gnome-mime-data 2.0.0-1 over this suggesting
the following patch...

As far as I know the stock openoffice releases still ship with only the
soffice binary for launching it, so the use of either ooffice or 
openoffice is totally arbitrary. However we will have to drag this
patch along in gnome-mime-data forever.
