Debian JP Project announced[1] that it and SPI registered "Debian" as a trademark in Japan. Actually, Debian JP is not incorporated, so Debian is registered by 5 persons: Fumitoshi UKAI Taketoshi Sano ISHIKAWA Mutsumi Masayuki Hatta Kenshi Muto They are on the board of Debian JP.
