Package: linux-base
Version: 4.14

Running linux-run-hooks with debianutils 5.7-0.5~deb12u1 fails:

# linux-run-hooks image postinst 6.16.3+deb14-amd64
/boot/vmlinuz-6.16.3+deb14-amd64 --
run-parts: missing operand
Try `run-parts --help' for more information.

In practice it isn't possible to install a kernel package.
Upgrading debianutils to 5.23.2 resolves the issue.

Seems like a dependency should be added.

This is the version in testing (forky).

This is the version in oldstable (bookworm).

So you have done a "skip upgrade", upgrading to forky without first
upgrading to trixie. This is not supported.

Ben.
