Hi, I set the default-webbrowser via KDE's system-settings > Standard-Apps. Switched between Firefox-ESR and Chromium. dileks@iniza:~$ xdg-open heise.de dileks@iniza:~$ xdg-open www.heise.de dileks@iniza:~$ xdg-open https://www.heise.de ^^ xdg-open respects the change. The same behaviour with KMail - opens Links accordingly to default-webbrowser settings. [ Test-Cass ] Send to my own Gmail-Account an email containing: https://www.heise.de [ KDE Details ] dileks@iniza:~$ kinfo --version Operating System: Debian GNU/Linux 13 KDE Plasma Version: 6.5.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 6.20.0 Qt Version: 6.9.2 Kernel Version: 6.17.13+deb14-amd64 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: Wayland [...] My system is Debian/unstable AMD64 with today's full-upgrade as of 24-Dec-2025.
