No that doesn't sound like a good idea to me.

It would break at least 2 important features we currently have :
- the ability to not install Recommends
- the ability to mix 6.5.0 with 6

Also it would duplicate the real package-to-package dependency tree with 
depending everything from kde-standard which I really don't like.
