I agree. Stable is not a rolling distribution. A back port may or may not be doable given the several year long maintenance requirement and the sheer amount of packages with a huge lot of dependencies. Expecting the current Debian Qt/KDE team to do that work *on top* of their already existing workload… let's say it this way: I would not demand that, especially not without even adding a single "please" to the request. I am really happy with the maintenance of Qt/KDE in Debian. Plasma 6.5.1 is working quite nicely here! And I am still on Wayland. :) Thanks for the good work! Best, -- Martin
