ogni tanto mi va in crash un tab, ma è abbastanza raro e non faccio
altro che chiudere quel tab (se riuso quello va in crash con maggiore
probabilità) e aprirne un altro.
Prova a vedere questo bug:

inoltre prova ad avviarlo in modalità safe per vedere se è qualche
estensione che genera quel comportamento.
