Io ho un effetto simile, ma senza passare per il framebuffer - che non ho attivato -: lancio X e le console si disintegrano, righe blu con caratteri arancioni casuali, altri caratteri che si "corrompono" - tipo non riesco piu' a decifrare un # -... Uhm, non ho attivato il framebuffer, ma un bel vga=9 nel lilo.conf... Nel mio caso, anziche' la Matrox, ho una Voodoo 4500, xfree 4.0.3 e kernel (credo c'entri) 2.4.5...
