I've tried the test cases (both the original and my small one) with
gcc-snapshot (20110409-1) now. Same error:
$ gcc test.c
test.c: In function 'main':
test.c:3:3: internal compiler error: in gimplify_expr, at gimplify.c:7024
Please submit a full bug report,
with preprocessed source if appropriate.
