Hi Christian First of all, I think the proper place do discuss this is [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.debian.org/ports/sparc/ says: "Full 64-bit mode involves a significant overhead (memory and disk size) with often no benefit. Some applications really can benefit from being in 64-bit mode..." So I would like to ask: why do you think creating a 64-bit version of gnat is worth the effort? I have personally never seen gnat use more than 340 Mb of RAM, and that's running 64-bit on an amd64 system. If you think there is a benefit in running gnat in 64-bit mode on sparc, then I'm all for it. -- Ludovic Brenta. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
