Confirmed with 3.3.4 and 3.4:

However, it seems to be fixed with mainline:
g/x> /home/bangerth/bin/gcc-3.5-pre/bin/c++ -c x.cc -Wall -O2

On the other hand, you claim that mainline still has the bug (though the
message you paste indicates the contrary). What am I doing wrong? Or
is this really fixed?
