That's indeed the name of the upstream project. However, the compiler that's provided in the gcc-3.2 package is specifically for C. The existing short description seems ideal: it would be misleading to describe the package as a "compiler collection" when only a single compiler is included. Perhaps it would be reasonable to mention in the long description that the C compiler is part of the GNU Compiler Collection, though. p.
