The GNU C preprocessor is required by some utilities that use it for
macro substitutions. This package has been separated from gcc for
the benefit of those who require the preprocessor but not the
compiler.

Le préprocesseur GNU C est nécessaire par quelques utilitaires qui l'utilisent
pour des substitutions de macros. Ce paquet a été séparé de gcc pour le
bénéfice de ceux qui ont besoin du préprocesseur mais pas du compilateur.
