Package: g77-3.3 Version: 1:3.3.5-6 Severity: wishlist Hi,
Through no fault of my own :-) I have to deal with FORTRAN code that uses very large UNIT numbers (up to 750) when opening files. According to src/libf2c/libI77/README.netlib, this can be done by increasing the value of MXUNIT in fio.h in the same source directory and recompiling. Is there any reason not to increase this value to (say) 1000 in the Debian binary packages? -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.9-powerpc Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages g77-3.3 depends on: ii gcc-3.3 1:3.3.5-6 The GNU C compiler ii gcc-3.3-base 1:3.3.5-6 The GNU Compiler Collection (base ii libc6 2.3.2.ds1-20 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libg2c0-dev 1:3.3.5-6 GNU Fortran 77 library development -- no debconf information regards, -- Kevin B.
