Hi Neil, 2010/1/22 Neil Williams <[email protected]>: > Samsung 2443 CPU ARM 400MHz or 533MHz
This chip is (well?) supported mainline kernel. Ben Dooks (simtec guy?) supports samsung chips. > Marvell PXA303 624MHz This chip comes from Intel (Marvell bought pxa to Intel). PXA300 is supported mainline. I do not know if those are compatible. Marvell has a git tree, mainly for orion and kirkwood at git.marvell.com > Samsung dual Core 6410 CPU 667Mhz (ARM 11, 3D engine) This is mainline supported, also Ben Dooks and it is in on going development. > I'm not expecting any of these to be ARM rather than armel. Is anyone > aware of any particular issues with Linux kernels on such chips? A great reference for searching the kernel source tree can be found at LXR[1] site. For patches RMK has a tracking system for patches [2]. Also you can search mailing lists for searching known bugs, patches, comments at marc.info[3] site. Happy hacking ! :-) [1] http://lxr.linux.no/#linux+v2.6.32/ [2] http://www.arm.linux.org.uk/developer/patches/ [3] http://marc.info/?w=2&r=1&s=s3c6410&q=t -- Héctor Orón "Our Sun unleashes tremendous flares expelling hot gas into the Solar System, which one day will disconnect us." -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
