Ack. I packaged it just for the newer versions of emacs-pg-el, which can now just rely on the Emacs bundled one. Also checked the peg git history and found no change after 2022[1], suggesting it's pretty stable for a while. So we should be fine with the Emacs bundled one for a while. Sounds good to REJECT.
