Package: elpa-eshell-git-prompt Version: 0.1.2-2 Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer, choosing powerline theme for the eshell requires the package `fonts-powerline` otherwise the intended symbols in the eshell prompt could not be shown. I suggest you use `fonts-powerline` as a recommendation for this package. Steps to reproduce: 1. Install elpa-eshell-git-prompt from the repo 2. use the following line of code in the init file (eshell-git-prompt-use-theme 'powerline) 3. run eshell -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages elpa-eshell-git-prompt depends on: ii elpa-dash 2.14.1+dfsg-1 ii emacsen-common 3.0.4 Versions of packages elpa-eshell-git-prompt recommends: ii emacs 1:26.1+1-3.2 ii emacs-gtk [emacs] 1:26.1+1-3.2 elpa-eshell-git-prompt suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
