There is no emacs21 nor emacs22. There is Emacs. Those are just
technical package names refering to the same program.
As far as I know, Rob is still the Emacs maintainer. And trying
to decide the future of the package without even CC'ing him
is just unfair.

This is fine. It would be nice to him to include him in the discussion.
