It's an XEmacsism, and as such third-party library developers shouldn't be encouraged to use it. It is provided in lucid.el (GNU Emacs' XEmacs compatibility library), but people don't seem to use that much. > Is this an upstream mistake? Yup. File a bug report! -- John Paul Wallington
