Aren't we trying to solve a problem with the Debian installation here? I do not see any reason to complicate things by trying to solve a hypothetical general case which involves non-backward-compatible changes to a number of independent programs, at least in the short term. -- Jason Rumney <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
