Hello. I propose that 1. emacsen-common should not be re-compile depends elisp package. 2. If re-compilation is needed, should be in emacsen-install script. for examples. (compile == byte-compile) Here are two elisp packages "apel" and "flim". flim depends apel. system status: apel: installed. flim: not installed. We will install flim package in this system, then emacsen-common will re-compile apel. I think that not need re-compilation of apel, also any other elisp packages situations maybe. Indeed flim needs compiled apel, but not needs re-compilation of already compiled apel. I think, this problem is very important so that elisp compilations need many system resources.
