It's usually the case that debian/ directories are entirely added by Debian maintainers rather than being partially maintained upstream; not always, but usually. In that case you can fetch just package_version.diff.gz from the source directory of the Debian archive and apply it to an empty directory, or something similar. -- Colin Watson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
