I would agree with you that 2.2.15 should be the default kernel. But we can include a 2.4 kernel in potato, perhaps with a warning in the long description that people should use it with caution, and with a lilo backup kernel in place. I've been running 2.3 kernels for a while now, and so have several people. Though it may not work as a default ekrnel, espescially for laptop users, it can be useful for a lot of people out there. I think it would be in keeping with the social contract that we offer people a *choice* manoj -- You can fool all the people all of the time if the advertising is right and the budget is big enough.
