I agree. My desktop system here at BNL is running pre5 with no problems, and all the machines at buoy.com except the terminal server (which has 273 days uptime, and I can't bear to reboot it) are running one of the preX versions. Our news server gets the snot beat out of it since it runs innd AND squid, so yeah, it's stable.
