If a new file is needed (why not just README.source?) is it worth
thinking how future extensions could be added -- "support" seems much
wider concept than just what distribution is accepted and people might
want to add documentation of other things, eg "non-packaging bugs will
ignored", or "i only update thispackage once per release" or "no patches
accepted". A simple list would make that harder to support?
