backport level (stable, old-stable, a specific release like sarge) that
a package maintainer is willing to support?
This will greatly help non-maintainers that would like to contribute
patches to the packaging to "freshen it up" (and the janitor). (Common
question: "Is this package stuck at debhelper-compat (= 12) because the
maintainer forgot to updated it in a long time, or does the maintainer
actually backports this to old-old-old-stable?")
