In the mean time, we released trixie and are down to 142 bugs. As we would like to complete this transition in a timely manner, I consulted with the release team and am now bumping the remaining bug reports to RC severity. Note that we only actually get the symptoms once libc6-dev drops its dependency on libcrypt-dev. I suggest dropping this dependency one month from now which should leave plenty of time to fix the majority of remaining bugs (or autoremove the packages from forky). Keep in mind that for every reported bug, the resolution either is adding a dependency or the bug contains a patch.
