It can be used to parse and provide information regarding an Xcode project or used to build an Xcode project directly. (Description is still WIP.) * * * The library (installed as a private library as it won't have any rdeps for the time being) and the tools (buildtool, pc2xc and pcpg) will be shipped together in one package bin:xcode-tools. The Ycode.app application is a still a stub and won't be built/installed. The buildtool program has an option to generate makefiles, so this package will be used as a build-dependency for some Debian GNUstep packages for which we have to maintain GNUstep makefiles manually and update them with almost every new upstream release (these are apps written and maintained upstream only for Apple systems). It will also be useful when exploring potential candidates for packaging (writing a makefile is trivial but parsing the nasty Xcode project description is not).
