as a regular workflow: sure. however, I take the original suggestion as: could you please test our latest and greatest release of "uscan", to see whether the problem has been fixed already? which I think is a perfectly normal approach in software development. once it is established that version 5 "does the right thing", there's one more incentive to upload it to backports. mfh.her.fsr IOhannes
