Greetings. I am thinking of (finally) establishing a packaging team and associated Salsa namespace for FLTK proper and any reverse dependencies that care to join it, particularly those that aren't already team-maintained. (As such, I'm explicitly addressing only maintainers of individually maintained reverse dependencies.) On the policy front, I'm inclined to fork the Debian-Med policy[1] on grounds of familiarity, but open to alternatives. However, I plan to stay *neutral* on patch-system usage -- I generally see them as excess formality/ceremony when already using version control, but I know they remain broadly popular, so individual packages are welcome to go either way as far as I'm concerned.
Please let me know if you'd like to join and if you have any notable policy preferences. (NB: I haven't followed -devel in ages, so please keep me copied even when replying to the list.) FWIW, I am at DebConf if anyone wants to meet in person. I suspect the timing is too tight to try to schedule a group meetup, but please feel free to find me for an individual chat if you'd like.
