I 100% agree with Marc here about dog fooding. I've used Jira at my day job and 
some workflows in Jira seem weirdly baroque and complicated to me, at least for 
what I had to use it.  That's just my experience, which should not mattter here 
much.
Though, Jira being closed source even if somehow we would obtain a  permit to 
use it freely as in beer should be enough to bar its use here, in my opinion.
