Hi. I'm trying to create a portable version of bookworm that I can use on different computers. I'm using a 128 GB external ssd. When I install Debian on it everything works great until I try to use the drive on another computer. When I tried it wouldn't boot, and would no longer boot on the computer I created it on either. My question is, is grub changed when you do this? If so, is there a way I can write protect it to prevent it from changing when I boot from another computer? Best regards.
