I was suggesting that perhaps the root cause of /why/ the .deb files are
not identical is because if there's no timestamp in the trailer line of
the top changelog entry, that impacts the contents of the .deb.
And indeed, I just confirmed that theory. It appears that when there is
a timestamp in the trailer line, the build process uses that timestamp
as the modification time of all the files in the .deb, but if there's no
timestamp, it uses the time when the build is run, so the timestamps are
obviously going to be different for two sequentially run builds.
So I don't need about reprotest failing until I've finalized the
changelog for release.
