Hi all,

First:
- DE is Cinnamon.
- DM is lightdm.
- Keyboard model is Generic 105-key PC
- keyboard layout is Danish
- AltGr function is default
- Compose key is 'Meny key'

I have now tried installing and uninstalling gnome-session-bin which
have no effect so that cannot be the cause.
Changing DE from Cinnamon to XFCE4 and dead key works.
Creating a new user and using this user session in both Cinnamon and
XFCE4 and dead key works in both DE.

Conclusion: My Cinnamon DE using my old user must have gone haywire
somehow so I have created a new user and therefore this bug can be
closed with solution 'works here, must be user error' ;-)

Sore to all for the noise.
