Node.js comes with API of its own that is not available in the browsers. Webpack exposes this code to programs that are unaware they are running in a browser. Sass is a CSS preprocessor to include features that don’t exist in CSS yet like nesting, mixins, inheritance, and other nifty goodies that help write robust, maintainable CSS. This package is enables webpack to include and compile Sass files into a web application bundle. Node.js is an event-based server-side JavaScript engine. This is required to build some webapps.
