This package is useful for using Debian with Qt in devices that are not contemplated by the already packaged qt6-base-private-dev, which only works with OpenGL implementations. This is actively used by anyone who is building Qt applications for embedded and the scope of this was discussed in bug #1035985, hence the ITP. This package will be maintained under the Qt/KDE team.
