A team is currently forming to take care of sudo in the future. I have reached out to a small group of good people and things will get moving over the next days. Interested parties are invited to subscribe to the package e-mail distribution on tracker.debian.org as this will be our main vehicle of communication within the team. An upload with the new Maintainer field will be done in due time. I would like to thank Bdale for taking care of sudo for such a long time. I do realize that sudo is a package of utmost importance to the project and hope that the team effort will do comparably good work on the package like you did in the past.
