If you can't even afford a domain name, please let me ask, how many people will be working on "your" distribution? Debian has a four-digit number of contributors and has a budget. Do you seriously think that you will be able to build your own distribution without spending any money and with a small number of contributors (if any) that will go beyond replacing the name?
