That's great news. Sendxmpp is not maintained much upstream. If go-sendxmpp would reach or even surpass the level of functionality of sendxmpp, that would make it a candidate for replacing sendxmpp altogether. I did notice the command line options are different from sendxmpp, and that might needlessly confuse people who have used sendxmpp before.
