The Debian project does not want aggressive emails (in its bug system, or elsewhere). We have plenty of bug reports. In many areas, more than we can deal with effectively. We also rely on volunteer effort, which means that we need working on Debian to be fun. The purpose of bug reports is to help us improve the code. Bug reports with an aggressive tone are not fun to deal with. They use up our emotional energy, and make working on Debian un-fun. So, no, we don't want them. (For the avoidance of doubt, it is perfectly fine to disagree with a maintainer in an email to a bug report. Maintainers are human and humans make mistakes. But such disagreement should be polite and constructive.) Sorry, Ian.
