I was just about to suggest that myself. at, cron, an MTA, and locate seem good candidates for that task too. (Admittedly, cron has to be Priority:important anyway, to support logrotate - until/unless someone adds a logrotate.timer for systemd, and makes its cron job early-return if systemd is pid 1.)
