Hi everyone! When there's a package transition for a package that is currently in Stable, it's obvious that the transition packages should be available on the next stable release.
But when the package isn't in stable (yet), and is only in Sid/testing, how long should a transition package last? Until the next stable release? IMO it'd be bad to have a transition package introduced in the new Stable if the package wasn't in old-stable. Thoughts anyone?
